Antistatic resin floors for ATEX and EPA areas

There are several sectors in which the accumulation of electrostatic charges on floors can create problems. Electronic components and devices are highly sensitive to electrostatic fields and discharges, which can cause both disturbances (malfunctions, interference, electromagnetic compatibility issues) and physical damage to components.
Over the course of its history, RealeResine has gained particular experience in the installation of antistatic and conductive floors in ATEX and EPA areas of the various pharmaceutical, chemical, electronic, food sectors, etc.
To make the surface conductive, a network of copper strips is embedded in the resin and then connected to the grounding system, allowing the dissipation of electrostatic charges, becoming an antistatic flooring.
The treatment also makes the flooring dustproof, waterproof, resistant to abrasion and various aggressive chemicals, easy to clean, aesthetically pleasing and with a degree of anti-slip suitable for any intended use.
At the end of the installation, the actual conductivity of the flooring and its antistatic characteristics are verified through a specific electrical conductivity test.
