Refurbishment of a damaged floor by leveling it with epoxy mortar and laying a “MULTILAYER” resin floor.

The first phase of the project required several demolitions of particularly damaged areas, which were then repaired with epoxy resin and quartz mortars. The entire floor was then prepared by grinding/bush-hammering, performed using our machinery equipped with specific tools. The first layer of epoxy primer was loaded with quartz, spread with a trowel, and sprinkled with 03-09 quartz. The intermediate layer, self-leveling epoxy, was then applied with a trowel at approximately 1 kg/m2 and sprinkled with saturated quartz at approximately 5 kg/m2. After removing the excess quartz, we sanded and vacuumed the floor. The joints were restored by cutting and sealing with epoxy-polyurethane elastomer. The colored finish coat, spread with a trowel and then applied with a roller, required a consumption of approximately 700 g/m2.

The work took just four days, from Thursday to Sunday, and the client was so satisfied with the results that he was able to return to work that same Monday.
